With a not well-functioning child, several school changes, school refusal, anxiety and low self-esteem, many things were tried and tested! This was without feeling that we had found the underlying cause, the right help, or understanding of the challenges our daughter was facing. By coincidence we were recommended contacting Gifted Institute and from one day to the next we were in a much safer, more enlightened, and clarified place than we had ever been during the many years that our daughter was struggling.

We didn’t know that giftedness could inhibit a child’s well-being. We are now talking about a BEFORE and AFTER meeting Gifted Institute.

And there is still a long way to go, as our daughter needs to rebuild and regain her trust in the world. But we are not in a hurry. Rome was not built in a day! But in one day our way of inhabiting the world together with our daughter was changed. Finally she felt understood and respected. And for that we are eternally grateful! And everything, from the first meeting to our subsequent talks have been safe, constructive, and valuable.
